- New Leased Construction Project
This is your typical New England design and construction. The project went relatively
smooth, with site work and some construction beginning in the winter months. With approval
from the Postal Service, we chose to use a more expensive, higher quality exterior rather
than the specified aluminum siding. We felt it looked much better, and therefore justified
the additional expense.
Raymond Construction was the Contractor on the job, which was sited by USPS Architect
Jack Neilson as being "one of the best looking facilities he has seen".
The site, split off from a family tract was originally part of a farm and used to grow
corn. It required a rezoning to allow a post office.
