Air Force through Officer Training School, 1966; Weather Officer, 196770, with duty at
Blytheville AFB, AR in support of the Strategic Air Command, and one year in Southeast
Asia in Thailand/Vietnam (1969-70); Weather Officer, Tennessee Air National Guard,
1971-83; Manpower Requirements Reserve Officer, Selective Service System, 1983-92;
Squadron Officer School, 1979; Air Command & Staff College, 1982. Retired in February,
1994, with the rank of Lt. Colonel with 28 years of military service.
