Valuable Information for Postal Lessors

DID YOU FIND ALL OF THE CHANGES IN THE NEW LEASE ?????
Although each lease is different, there are many boilerplate clauses. When you receive a
new lease, it will remind you to read it thoroughly because there may be changes, but
where are the changes? Below are some of most recent changes to the General Conditions of
the USPS Lease. Obviously this is not a complete listing of all possible changes, just a
few pointers to look for, but you must still thoroughly re-read the rest of your lease
carefully.

A.7 RESERVED PREVIOUSLY THE OFFICIALS NOT TO BENEFIT CLAUSE, (DELETED) NEW MATERIALS MAY
BE INCLUDED HERE.
A.9 ASSIGNMENT OF CLAIMS
SUBPARAGRAPH a., # 3. (2 lines of changes)
SUBPARAGRAPH c., #2 (last two and a half lines, starts, and 2. both the original lessor
and the successor lessor execute the standard Lease Assignment and provided by the USPS
Contracting Officer.
A.12 YEAR 2000 WARRANTY (REAL PROPERTY CONTRACTS) completely new, replaces the old CLEAN
AIR AND CLEAN WATER Clause.
A.13 CLAIMS AND DISPUTES ( amounts changed to $100,000 found in: c., d.2, and e.
